Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is Backup Marketing Limited, with its principal place of business at Pottery House, Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, A96WY61 (referred to as the "Promoter").

Eligibility

The Tesco Late Late Toy Show Competition (Family of 5 Trip to Lapland December 2025) is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland who are 18 years of age or older.

Tesco Ireland, Backup Marketing Limited and their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible to participate.

Competition Period

The Competition begins on Wed 26th November and ends on Sunday 7th December at 5pm. Entries received after the end of the Promotional Period will not be entered into the draw.

The Promoter has the right to extend the Competition Period.

How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  • Pick up a Late Late Toy Show Treat Box in a Tesco Store.
  • Scan the QR code at the Treat Box to access the online competition and complete the form to enter.
  • Confirm their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions for the Competition.
  • Only one entry per person is permitted.

Prize

  • The prize consists of a trip for a family of five to Lapland. There is one prize in total.
  • One winner will be randomly selected from the pool of correct and eligible entries.
  • Winners will not have an option of a cash prize alternative.
  • The Prize consists of Flights and accommodation for a Family of 5.
  • The dates of Travel are Wednesday 17th December to Friday 19th December.

  • Lapland 2-Night Trip with a full itinerary of events each day and meals included.
  • Departure: 17th December 2025
  • Outbound Flight: Dublin to Rovaniemi | 08:05 departure
  • Baggage: 20kg checked luggage per person
  • Accommodation: Ounasvaara Chalets, Antinmukka 4, 96600 Rovaniemi
  • 1 x Two-Bedroom Cabin for 2 Adults & 3 Children (2 nights)
  • Return Flight: 19th December 2025 | Rovaniemi to Dublin | 14:25 departure

Winner Selection

The winner will be selected from all eligible entries in a random draw conducted by Backup Marketing Limited.

The draw will take place on Sunday 7th December at 5pm with the winner being notified on that day.

The Winner and family must be able to travel on the dates of Wednesday 17th December to Friday 19th December. The Winner and family must have valid passports and be in date by 6 months to travel. The names and passport details have to be given to the travel agent/airline by 12 noon on Monday 8th December.

In the event of a dispute, the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence about the choice of the winner.

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified via the contact information provided when entering the Prize draw, on Sunday 7th December. We require that the winner must respond the day of receiving the notification to claim the prize.

In the event that the winner does not reply to the call by the Promoter by 9am on Monday 8th December to claim their Prize, it will be deemed to have been forfeited, and an alternative winner may be selected from valid entries at the Promoter’s discretion.

The Prize winner is subject to a full verification process.

All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Promotion. Entries made by a third party or via automated devices or processes are not allowed, and all such entries will be disqualified.

The Promoter and its associated companies reserve the right at any time to verify the eligibility of participants.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant for any reason at its sole discretion.

The allocation of the Prize will be to individuals only. No syndicates or groups will be eligible to enter this Promotion.

Proof of entering is not accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter is not liable for non- or late receipt of any entry, due to operator or network error or for any associated cost to participants.

Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered, or tampered with in any way.

The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct and may result in cancellation or disqualification and ultimately forfeiting the Promotion Prize.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entrants taking part in this Promotion; they do so at their own risk.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage, cost, expense, or liability suffered or incurred by any person, entrant, or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly out of, or in connection with, this Promotion.

The Promoter assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the Promotional Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from the use of any material in the Promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right to alter the specifications of the Prize or offer alternative prizes of equal value should the Prize, or part thereof, be unavailable for reasons beyond its control.

Privacy and Data Usage

Personal data collected during the Competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and notifying winners.

General Terms

  • Backup Marketing Limited reserves the right to amend, modify, or cancel the Competition if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
  • Participants must comply with these terms and conditions to be eligible for the prize.
  • By participating in this Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
